Hello, I am a new member

Hi, my name is Anke and I am considering home education for my 7 year old son with Aspergers.
Hope this forum helps me to find out more about home education of children with.
I am looking forward to sharing experience and getting information from other parents.

We started home ed with our 13 year old son who has Aspergers this January and it has been such a positive experience (so far!). He is so much more relaxed, a lot happier, seems healthier and although we still have to 'convince' him that he needs to learn, he has finally progressed academically for the first time in almost 3 years! It's a scarey step to take but for us it has made a huge difference to our whole family. Good luck!

I home educated my son a few years ago when he was of secondary school age. It was without any doubt a positive experience. If there is any information you would like to know then just ask as either myself or someone else here will probably be able to help you out.
