A sad story of a family not allowed to home educate

Grace is the parent of a disabled child who removed her from her special school because the school was not meeting her needs. She was on the television some months ago, showing how Elysha was learning well at home, and was discussed on these lists at that point. The school immediately called in the social services and the family was then charged with emotional neglect on the grounds that Elysha would not be socialised at home. Grace and her family showed Elysha socialising at home ed group and enjoying the meetings. However as you will see from the email below, in spite of a hard won fight, the state has fought back and Grace and her family are now having to move to Scotland in an attempt to escape from the nightmare.
