Quraish

Has anybody here played Quraish? It's a 3D strategy game set in the 8th century between the Arabs, Romans, and Persians.

This game looks fascinating. My son isn't big on video games like most teenagers are but he really wants it. Could you tell me where you bought Quraish from?

I bought it from the bookshop at the London Central Mosque near Regent's Park. I sometimes go there to buy books and DVDs about Islam.

Many recent video games are based around crime, mindless violence, or military attacks against Islam and Muslim countries - all of which go against Islamic principles. There has been concerns from the Muslim community about this, and rather than complain, the best strategy was to create video games based on Islamic history and in tune with Islamic principles. This is the idea behind Quraish.

Quraish is a very enjoyable and rather unusual game that I can seriously recommend buying. If you don't live in London then you should be able to order it on the internet.

My son has bought the game and he absolutely loves it.
