On the 12th May the Department of Children Schools and Families (DCSF) was renamed the Department of Education, and new website has been set up at http://www.education.gov.uk. The old signs with the rainbow are being removed from the DCSF offices and is soon set to disappear from the Asperger Home Education website.

The question is, will the Department of Education under Michael Gove exhibit a more positive approach towards HE families than its predecessor, or is it new name same old game?

Only time will tell but the rebranding has drawn criticism from some circles. Hopefully HE families will not be one of them in the future.

The DCSF logo has now been removed from the Asperger Home Education website.
